The Franklin Institute will host an afternoon of constructive competition as makers and hackers from the region attempt to outdo each other in a show of inventive force. Sparks will fly as they solder and weld their way to victory! This event honors Dean Kamen, The Franklin Institute's 2011 Benjamin Franklin Medalist in Mechanical Engineering. This event is presented as part of The Franklin Institute Awards Week Celebration of Science, generously underwritten by Cephalon, Inc. Collaborators: The Franklin Institute; Next Fab Studio.
