    The twice-a-year Foster Conference of Distinguished Writers regularly attracts some of the best writers in the country to campus for free public lectures and to work in hands-on and small-group sessions with students in the College of Communications. Three more standout visitors are scheduled to visit during the spring semester in 2011. Both sessions are free and open to the public. Ben Feller Associated Press White House correspondent. A Penn State alumnus, he's the winner of the Merriman Smith Award for presidential reporting.
