Attendees at this adult workshop learn firsthand the art of felt making, a technique used by the nomads of the Tarim Basin and seen in the Secrets of the Silk Road exhibition. Textile artist Maris Krasnegor, an instructor at the Philadelphia Guild of Hand Weavers, introduces the techniques that transform wool fibers into felt. Participants leave with their own felted samples.
