    Shoes-a-palooza, a morning of fun-filled children’s activities and programs promoting early literacy, is scheduled for children age three to six on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library beginning at 10:30 am. Appearing at event is acclaimed children’s writer Stephen R. Swinburne, author of Whose Shoes? A Shoe for Every Job. Swinburne’s book, Whose Shoes? was chosen as the sixth title in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania One Book, Every Young Child reading initiative. The public is invited to register for this FREE event online at www.grundylibrary.org, or by calling 215.788.7891 ext. 5 or ext. 6. Seating is limited.
