Noted architects such as John Notman and Frank Furness competed fiercely for the chance to design for the dead. Join Laurel Hill on a walking tour of the cemetery, where you will see monuments created by early architects, examine the work of sculptors such as Calder and Frishmuth, and visit the gravesites of portraitist Thomas Sully and watercolorist William Trost Richards.
