Melt the memory of winter 2011 with a visit to Morris Arboretum where evidence of spring can be found at every turn.
As you walk along the paved path that winds throughout the 92-acre garden, look up, down and all around for signs of spring. You may find petite grape hyacinths located near the parking lot or discover forsythia, also in bloom, closer to the Fernery. Search for Cornus officinalis, a tree with little yellow clusters of flowers in our Dogwood collection. And uncover Galanthus, small white flowers, and Eranthis hyemalis, little yellow blooms, at the base of various trees.
It’s been a tough winter, but warmer days are coming, so head up, or head down as you take in spring at Morris Arboretum.
