Friday Night Live brings together live art and live music , exploring the relationship between the two. A live band will perform in the gallery. During the performance, featured artists will create visual art that is inspired by and responds to the music. The work will be auctioned off by a silent auction taking place throughout the evening. In March we welcome the Dave Manley Trio. Dave Manley grew up in Detroit, cutting his teeth playing in various groups ranging from metal to jazz. Dave spent time in LA and New York gaining experience playing with both jazz and rock groups. Upon arriving in Philadelphia, Dave began working with some of the city’s most innovative and popular artists. He performed with Jill Scott in Dave Chappelle’s movie Block Party. Dave currently writes, records, gigs and teaches in Philly and beyond. Featured artists for March are Kasso, Delve, and Luv 1 of the SAGE Collective. They blend street art styles with contemporary fine art.
