Eric Bresler and International House Philadelphia present TV Carnage Live! Brooklyn-based Canadian transplants TV Carnage are the innovators of the popularized video movement that arranges glimpses of media into hypnotic stories that examine and satirize the media’s involvement in the evolution of modern popular culture. For over 15 years, TVC have been entertaining/torturing connoisseurs of bad television the world over with their renowned DVD compilations that have been profiled in everything from The New York Times to NME to VICE. These compilations provoke seemingly endless streams of uncomfortable laughter in the form of public access shows, Christian rock phenoms, racist children, Asian show tunes, pro wrestlers and Gary Coleman. TV Carnage mastermind/mysteryman Pinky Carnage brings the “Let’s Work It Out” tour to Philadelphia where he’ll be screening portions of his new exercise video compilation, fresh finds, classic clips, and other TVC treats and treasures that you won’t find on YouTube. Prepare to say goodbye to your body…and mind!
