While deployed to Iraq, Lance Corporal Jeff Key kept his sanity by recording his experiences in a small notebook kept in his cargo pocket. For entertainment, he read the journals to his fellow marines. In the journals there are serious moments and seriously funny moments. These are the true words of a soldier at war performed by the marine himself.

"I was blown away by Jeff's artistry. He was meant to influence us all." -Lily Tomlin

"The Eyes of Babylon is as astonishing to me as any other work of art which appears, fresh, from a highly gifted artist. I was drawn into it, disarmed, and stilled to a state of positive shock and awe. As moved as I was throughout the presentation, I didn't weep until later, when the worth and weight of it had sunk in." -Joan Baez

Playing to full houses and rave reviews across the country, we present The Eyes of Babylon to you now, before the show opens in New York City this spring. This is your chance to see a contemporary piece of theatre on its way to its Off-Broadway debut.
