There's nothing better than home-grown veggies! Home-grown veggies taste delicious and are more economical and nutritious than those bought from the store. Growing our own food is also a way to live more sustainably. Whether you want to grow a few tomatoes or go into production, this workshop will give you the information you need to get a great start on your 2011 garden. Master Gardener and avid vegetable gardener Leslie Trimble will discuss location, soil preparation, seed starting, plant selection and culture.
