Ronstadt Generations, Lost In Holland, and Dan Collins at the Tin Angel. Tucson-based Ronstadt Generations, Lost in Holland (Josh Hisle and Michael G. Ronstadt), and Philadelphia artist Dan Collins offer a unique evening at the crossroads of folk and indie music at the legendary Tin Angel. Ronstadt Generations Four voices, multi-instrumentalists, solo artists and original songwriters with a rich family blend offer audiences the chance to truly have an experience to be remembered. Ronstadt Generations consists of Michael J. Ronstadt, Michael G. Ronstadt, Petie Ronstadt and Josh Hisle, spanning two generations with a repertoire that reaches back to the end of the 19th century while continually looking forward into the 21st. Lost in Holland Josh Hisle's music is informed by his experience as a two-tour Marine veteran of the Iraq war, and his ongoing exploration of a strange, sometimes violent, ultimately hopeful world. Dan Collins has become a respected voice in the Philadelphia indie/folk scene. His new album, You Can't Go Home, was released in 2010, and he has played many of the regions finest venues, including the Tin Angel and World Cafe Live. Collins brings a mix of unique songwriting and both folk and indie aesthetics into his music, supported by a cast of musicians from Philadelphia and beyond.
