Film Screening and Discussion With Sherman Alexie: The Business of Fancydancing
March 17, 2011
Join Sherman Alexie and Gary Kramer of Temple University for a screening of The Business of Fancydancing, a film that explores the tension between Seymour and Aristole, two men who grew up together on the Spokane Reservation. Seymour's internal conflict between his Indian heritage and his life as an urban gay man and popular Native poet plays out in multiple cultures and relationships over his college and early adult years. This event is present in partnership with the Connelly Library at Moore College of Art and Design. This event takes place in the Stewart Auditorium.
