Family Fossil Field Trip
April 9, 2011
Spend the day with your family and the animals and plants that lived during the Cretaceous period. Journey back 70 million years with the Academy of Natural Sciences' Ned Gilmore, collection manager for Vertebrate Paleontology, and Jason Poole, coordinator of the Fossil Prep Lab, during this family fossil dig along the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. Keep what you find! (Scientifically significant specimens may be retained for the ANSP collections.)
