    Sruti, The India Music and Dance Society is proud to announce the kick-off of its 25th anniversary celebrations with two days of music (vocal and instrumental) and dance homage to one of India's greatest classical music composers St. Tyagaraja and also other composers. Event is a mix of local community participation (nearly 150 participants) and several talented and highly recognized musical and dance groups. Program includes: a group rendition of St. Tyagaraja's Utsava Sampradaya and Pancha Ratna songs; mini vocal recital by Anil Chitrapu with accompaniments; main vocal recital by the renowned Toronto Brothers with accompaniments; individual recitals by members of the community; Bharatanatyam--Indian Classical Dance Recital by Shoba Narayan; individual recitals by members of the community; thematic vocal recital by Revathi Subramony, featuring composers of Karnataka; mini vocal recital by Ranjani Prabhakar.
