Drawing on the experiences of screenwriter Sherman Polatkin in the story “Fearful Symmetry” from War Dances, local screenwriters Joe Gangemi (Wind Chill, Inamorata), Ken Kalfus (A Disorder Peculiar to the Country), Mark Rosenthal (Mona Lisa Smile, Tim Burton’s Planet of the Apes), and former CityPaper editor in chief Duane Swierczynski will share their experiences working in Hollywood in a discussion moderated by Erec Smith of Ursinus College. This event is produced by Greater Philadelphia Filmmakers, a program of the Greater Philadelphia Film Office.
