Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble
April 7-April 8, 2011
What if you could find out what goes into the making of a ballet dancer? The Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble, a world-class troupe comprised of sixteen talented young dancers, present a lively behind-the-scenes look at the making of an artist, from the barre to the stage. Hosted by DTH Ensemble Director Keith Saunders, this interactive performance will feature a variety of short ballet performances and excerpts, exposing the audience to DTH’s unique yet classic brand of dance and amazing 42 year history.
These performances are part of the 27th annual Philadelphia International Children's Festival.
