THEATRE

The Fall of Troy
February 3-February 20, 2011
Directed by Dr. Douglas L. Overtoom, the show will be produced in two parts, encompassing the Trojan War and its aftermath. Part one is Shakespeare’s Troilus and Cressida, and Part two is Euripides’ The Trojan Women. Both shows are being set in a ‘post-apocalyptic’ world, which gives the company a chance to get extremely creative with both costumes and props, with ideas like PVC swords and axes made out of old license plates abounding. Costume director Kim Matthews is looking forward to getting creative with the costuming, and the entire cast has been brainstorming creative ideas to create weapons for the war.
