"Mr. Redbone doesn't just dig up the past, he embodies it, by dressing himself in the clothes of an old-time traveling minstrel and singing in a voice that is a stylistic composite of early Southern blues and vaudeville performers." New York Times With more than 15 albums, countless collaborations and an unmistakable voice and identity, Leon Redbone is the epitome of a legend. While his gravelly baritone and omnipresent fedora, dark glasses and Groucho Marx mustache made him one of the more distinct and recognizable characters in popular music, virtually nothing is known about the neo-vaudevillian's true identity. Throughout his career, he has spun such yarns as being the son of Paganini, the rumored alter ego of Andy Kaufaman or Frank Zappa in disguise. One thing is for certain; an intimate evening with this mesmerizing crooner and his enchanting tales and music is not to be missed!
