Mardi Gras Masks: Family Arts Academy

Mardi Gras masks are a vital part of the annual New Orleans celebration each March. Masks can express your inner secretive personality or your fantasy. It is part of the fun and festivities that make Mardi Gras such an unusual holiday. Participants will learn how to construct a fun and festive Mardi Gras mask using feathers, sequins, beads, ribbons, lace, jewels, pipe cleaners and pom poms held on with an elastic band or on a stick.
