    The Fabric Workshop and Museum presents “New American Voices II”. Artists include Robert Pruitt (Houston, TX) explores contemporary stereotypes of African-Americans, adornment, black aesthetics and visual traditions. Jiha Moon (Atlanta, GA and Seoul, S. Korea) develops her interest in contrasting cultures and sensibilities in her multi-layered work. Jim Drain (Miami, FL) best known for using a knitting machine, produces elaborate, colorful and anthropomorphic sculptures. At The New Temporary Contemporary, 1222 Arch, Bill Smith (O’Fallon, IL), trained in both art and science, Smith's work synthesizes acute observations of nature and an intensive approach to engineering. These works have been made in collaboration with FWM.
