Families are invited to bring their “outdoorable” children to explore Morris Aboretum’s Winter Garden this weekend! January is a great time to discover the garden and its winter blooms. As visitors walk along the paved path of this 92-acre garden, they can look for snowdrops, one of the earliest blooming bulbs and winter jasmine, a pretty yellow bud that grows in the rock wall in the Rose Garden, then searchalong the length of the Haas Oak Allèe for Wintersweet flowers that are very fragrant and wonderfully detailed. And strollers sure to find Witchhazel, one of the first blooming shrubs, which is throughout the garden and has a spicy, sweet scent.  Fresh air and winter blooms - a fabulous way for your whole family to welcome the New Year!
