The Colonial Plantation in Ridley Creek State Park is planning two events to benefit its animal fund on Friday, January 21, 7 – 11PM.

The first fantastic way to help the Plantation is to attend a Beef ‘n’ Beer in the main ballroom of the Jeffords Mansion. There will be music, dancing, food and liquid refreshments as well as a few surprise auction items. The cost is $25 per ticket, which can be purchased at the door or in advance by contacting the Plantation office. Attendance is limited to 120.

The Pocketful of Cash Raffle is the second fantastic way to help the Plantation. It will pay out $1000 to the grand prize winner and $100 each to two lucky second and third prize ticket holders. Winning tickets will be drawn during the Beef ‘n’ Beer, and it is not necessary to be in attendance to win. There will be a maximum of 250 tickets sold at $20 per ticket. The Plantation staff recommends that Beef ‘n’ Beer and Pocketful of Cash Raffle tickets be purchased early since both are limited.
