From Maus to Persepolis to Blankets, memoirs in graphic novel form are among the most powerful stories being told today. Join artist/writer Emily Steinberg, author of her own illustrated memoir, Graphic Therapy, as she guides you through the creative process of composing your own original graphic memoir. The class is open to all students, artists and people who can only draw a stick figure. You will work in any artistic medium (drawing, collage, painting, photography). The only requirement is that you have a story to tell. No artistic background or experience required.
