Ars Nova Workshop is pleased to present this performance by Acid Birds, an exciting trio fusing free jazz improvisation, noise and drone that, as Zach Lytton writes, "falls somewhere between [Anthony] Braxton and [Cornelius] Cardew." This event will also feature a very rare appearance from Planet Y, a duo with Philadelphia-based musicians Charles Cohen and Yanni Papadopoulos.
