Big Blue Spruce, with Glasgow and Your Children is Beautiful, are performing a free concert. Cloud Entertainment would like to introduce you to Big Blue Spruce: they are a relatively new band that is quickly gaining interest. The band combines rootsy-folk inspired harmonies and jam band instrumentation with a southern rock aesthetic. The band formed in 2009 as a trio then added their pianist in early 2010. The quartet has been playing for less than a year but you wouldn’t know that from their live performance! The band released their debut LP entitled “Short Story Long” under the guidance of producer/engineer David Park. The band returns to University City this December to once again produce a great performance. This season Millcreek has unleashed it’s free music series every Thursday night. The free music series features some of the best local and national touring acts each week. Big Blue Spruce will be sharing the stage with New Orleans based band Glasgow and local natives Your Children is Beautiful.
