Archives and Expeditions
January 13, 2011
The Academy of Natural Sciences has a rich history of exploration and discovery. In “Archives and Expeditions”, you get to see the field journals, correspondence, hand-drawn maps and vintage photographs of early 20th-century explorer Brooke Dolan II, as well as the birds, mammals and mollusks he collected in western China for the museum’s dioramas and research collections. Academy staff will tell the story of this great explorer and his legacy.
