Enjoy a night of mind bending performances with quixotic string duo Dream Zoo and innovative percussion pair Loop 2.4.3. Dream Zoo invokes romantic, childish, dark, eerie and odd emotions by merging classical, experimental and a bit of opera into strong and unique songs. The classically trained cellist, singer, composer and continuous staple of Dream Zoo, Valerie Kuehne, plays with a cycle of musicians to create an always changing experience for audiences. On December 4, Valerie will be joined by friend and collaborator Lucio Menegon, guitarist, composer, improviser and sonic artist. Loop 2.4.3 is a percussive duo with unique compositions. Loop 2.4.3’s members, Thomas Kozumplik and Lorne Watson, are composers, instrument inventors, improvisers, and performers, mixing electro-acoustic techniques with an array of percussion and other instruments. The Music & Mosaic Concert Series is Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens’ BYOB concert series held every fourth Saturday of the month.
