    Christmas is high art at the Hedgerow this year, with Jared Reed in A Dickens Christmas. This stunning new adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, is a one-person tour-de-force that brings to life the original language of the beloved classic story. This bold, artistic approach to the story is unlike anything else.
     

    After completing his heartwarming masterpiece, Charles Dickens spent years doing public readings of the book, and rocketed to his position as a literary superstar for his time. It was those same readings that inspired Jared Reed, master player and artistic director of the Curio Theater Company, to create his brilliant adaptation, in which he plays all the parts himself.
