Winter Native Plant Walk
December 11, 2010
Have you ever wondered what that plant is that catches your eye as you walk through the winter landscape? Explore the Preserve in its winter brilliance with Preserve Volunteer Naturalist Mary Anne Borge to discover the native wildflowers and trees that add interest to your yard through their fruits, seeds, color and architecture. Enjoy the quiet beauty of a walk through meadow and woods while learning how these plants provide winter food and shelter for birds and small mammals. Pre-registration is required by December 10; call the Preserve at (215)862-2924.
