Mobile Carillon Concerts
December 3-December 9, 2010
Frank DellaPenna is creator of Cast in Bronze, a unique traveling carillon consisting of 35 bells. It is played by a modified keyboard with the fists and feet. This mobile instrument is the only musical act of its kind in the world and the only carillon in history solely supported by listeners. Guest carilloneurs will perform in the afternoons and a silent, masked "spirit of the bells" will perform in the evenings.
