    Calling all pet owners and Ancient Egyptian fanatics! Dress your pet head-to-paw in ancient Egyptian gear and head to The Franklin Institute for a chance to win $500. All pets are welcome and will be judged on the originality and creativity of their costumes! Grand Prize: $500 Cash, 2nd Prize: $250 Cash and 3rd Prize: (2) Tickets to Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt. Other activities include: the Pennsylvania SPCA Mobile Adoption Unit will be on-site with dogs and cats available for immediate adoption, face painting and more! The event takes place on the steps of The Franklin Institute. Judging starts at 2 pm, and the winner will be announced at 2:30 pm. Name tags for contestants will be provided and pets must be on a leash at all times. In the spirit of the event, adults and children are welcome to dress up. Prizes will be awarded for pets in costume only. Water will be provided for all pets.
