CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
Weaving ll
October 19-December 7, 2010
In this class the students will have the opportunity to make two warps. The instructor will talk about drafting, sampling and planning a project. Each student will warp a loom for a sample of a weave structure they are interested in using for a project. Some examples of these are lace weaves, twills, and overshot. Each student's will be different and you will all learn from each other's sample. Then you will each plan a project to weave, and weave them together from start to finish. Most students will want to order their own special yarns for the project portion of the class.
