Veena Sahasrabuddhe is a leading Indian vocalist in the North Indian- Hindustani Classical Style. The style she has created for herself retains the fundamental values of the Gwalior Gharana (school) while borrowing somewhat from Kirana and Jaipur gharanas. The connoisseurs laud the authenticity of her music while most listeners are moved by its directness and intensity. Apart from Khayal which reflects the traditional practice of improvisational music, she is sought after for her rich repertoire of bhajans (devotional music). She will be accompanied by Kedar Naphade on harmonium and Vishal Nagar on talba.
