Bloodsuckers: A Spooky Creature Feature

The Wagner Free Institute of Science presents “Bloodsuckers: A Spooky Creature Feature”. Are bloodsucking animals cool or creepy? Do all bats drink blood? Is blood even good for you? Visitors will find out the answers to these juicy questions and more at this interactive children’s program, which will feature live animals from the Elmwood Park Zoo. Everyone isencouraged to come in costume, and explore the museum collections in the exhibition hall. Hands-on activities for children ages 6-12. Children’s program in the Victorian lecture hall. Leech feeding with Edward, Alice and Carlisle (appetite permitting). The presentation will be American Sign Language interpreted.
