Multi-week thematic courses in which parents and students participate together in art studio activities, museum tour activities, discussion and other multi-disciplinary activities.

This is a great introductory painting class for all ages – young and older. Explore basic painting techniques and materials, including color mixing and use of color, composition, and creating space and volume. Learn to paint in the style of great artists on display in the museum galleries. View paintings in the galleries, participate in demonstrations by the instructor and paint luminous landscapes, poetic portraits and stylish still lifes. Instructor: Elizabeth Nickles
