In this workshop you will learn how to draw "The offerings of the 5 senses". It is through your five senses that we perceive the world. On thangkas, images of the senses are often depicted in front of a deity. They include a mirror (seeing); a musical instrument (hearing); incense or perfume (smelling); some fruit (tasting) and cloth (touching). In this workshop you will learn about their meanings and how to draw them according to the thangka tradition. This workshop is suitable for everyone, including beginners with no drawing experience whatsoever.

Please bring 2 sheets of thick drawing paper (11"x17" or larger), an 18" ruler, HB pencils (pref. a mechanical pencil), a hard eraser and a soft knead-able gray one. Color pencils or paints are optional.
