What can you say about a band that's been together since 1986? Plenty. While many bands come and go within a few years, (Savoy) Truffle is in it for the long haul. They are players and entertainers; it's what they do! The core members are Dave Gerard (vocals, acoustic and electric guitars), Ned Chase (guitar, mandolin, lap steel, dobro and vocals) and David Bailey (bass and vocals). Together they have logged a million miles. Playing in over 40 states across the country, they have done as many as 275 shows in one year. Truffle has worked to achieve widespread popularity all over the U.S. as well as headlining many respected venues (Great American Music Hall, 328 Performance Hall, Fox Theatre and Roseland Ballroom). They have shared the stage with Little Feat, Phish, The Band, Blues Traveler, Dave Matthews Band, Spin Doctors, Buckwheat Zydeco, Arlo Guthrie, Widespread Panic, Merl Saunders and Baba Ulatundje to name a few.

Their sound, a mix of swampy soul, R&B, Bluegrass, New Orleans grooves, and World music, has been stewing in a pot for years, and is ever changing. Their live show, never dictated by a set list, is eclectic and different every night. You need to experience it for yourself ~ Enjoy!
