Those old photos boxed on a shelf for posterity tell a family’s story. Do you know the best way to care for them? Join us and Rachel Wetzel, photograph conservator from the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts (CCAHA). Register online or call.
Ms. Wetzel received a Bachelors of Arts in the History of Art & Architecture from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997. She completed a Masters of Arts degree in Art Conservation from the State University of New York Buffalo State College in 2005 and a post-graduate certificate in the Advanced Residency Program for Photograph Conservation at the George Eastman House/Image Permanence Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2007. She has been employed as a photograph conservator at CCAHA since August of 2007, where she performs various treatments, conducts photographic collection surveys, teaches conservation/preservation courses and lectures at workshops and public events.
