The Fabric Workshop and Museum is pleased to present Joan Jonas: Reading Dante III, a multi-media installation by renowned video and performance artist Joan Jonas. Jonas states that Reading Dante “describes the process; it is not an illustration of Dante, it’s a representation.” Developing a visual language from Dante's epic poem, The Divine Comedy, Jonas creates her installations using a variety of elements including videos, lamps, wall and chalkboard drawings.

Reading Dante II, Jonas’s one-night live performance and reception, Saturday, December 11 at 7pm, reception starting at 6pm.
