Like the impressionist painters of the 19th century we will step into nature’s majesty and paint outdoors. We will first examine the work of various artists for ideas and inspiration. Then each participant will be encouraged to follow his or her own individual expression. The Morris Arboretum provides the ultimate setting for capturing the beauty of the outdoors. Using quick drying acrylic paint we will capture the colors of autumn on our canvas board. We will paint outdoors, in the clarity of natural light. If the weather is inclement we will paint under the Visitors Center tent. All supplies are provided. Dress for the weather and to paint.  Instructor Allison Zito Artist and Teacher, Harcum College
