This month, Germantown Avenue’s businesses are collaborating with the Mayor’s office through Mt. Airy, USA to participate in Philly fashion themed events as part of a larger city wide effort. One of the region’s hot spots, Mt. Airy, an earthy and diverse nook of Philadelphia, is experiencing a steady revitalization–and has attracted dozens of new businesses in the last several years. Mt. Airy has the look and feel of Main Street America in an urban setting. On weekends, diverse crowds in growing numbers come together on The Avenue in Mt. Airy for civilized fun.
