OUTDOORS

Wildflowers for the Woodland Garden
September 29, 2010
A woodland garden can be a beautiful addition to your landscape and the perfect solution to a shady area. This class will focus on woodland garden planting techniques. Eva will introduce you to a variety of plants, primarily natives, which will thrive in shady areas. She will consider plants that are particularly outstanding including trillium, uvularia, and native pieris. Eva will review their bloom times, cultural requirements, and how long it takes a plant to mature and produce flowers. Learn how to create a woodland garden that you will enjoy for years to come.
