Tapestry Tribal is a Tribal Bellydance group that performs to their live musicians (Micheal and Woz). Tribal style belly dance weaves elements of the ritual and folkloric dances of the Middle East, Northern Africa, India and Spain into a rich and diverse fabric. They often dance with swirling veils, ringing finger cymbals, and slow, snake-like movements under swords or baskets balanced on their heads. Lorelei of Black Dragon Bellydance is a fusion bellydance troupe, meaning they have studied traditional Middle Eastern dance, but have fused elements of modern dance into their style. They have performed to the live music of local bands like Camp Dracula, The Fakirs and I, Fanblades. They are known for incorporating traditional and non-traditional props in their dance (swords, zills, veils, canes, hats, and hula hoops).
