    The Y12K is back! The second annual WHYY Y12K will take place on Saturday, November 13, 2010 in Fairmount Park. The Y12K is an annual fundraising road race for the Philadelphia region's premiere public media organization, WHYY. The race is an "out and back" course with runners making their way from the southern side of the Philadelphia Museum of Art to Falls Bridge and back, all along the scenic, tree-lined, Martin Luther King Jr.... Drive. This exciting event will help raise much-needed funding to support WHYY's award-winning programming and community outreach. In addition to the 12K, race day events include: Y Kids Family Fit Zone Your favorite PBS Kids costumed characters join families in the Y Kids Family Fit Zone for educational and fitness-inspired games and activities. 3K Family Walk/Run This shorter course is perfect for the whole family! Run, walk, stroll or saunter while you enjoy the fabulous fall foliage along the Schuylkill River - strollers welcome!
