    A Viennese family that has fallen on hard times resorts to subterfuge to win a wealthy husband for older daughter Arabella, while disguising their younger daughter, Zdenka, as a boy. The plot twists, turns, and waltzes through balls and parties – and darkened bedrooms! Do Arabella and Zdenka find true love and rich husbands? Richard Strauss’ lyrical comedy provides the answer!
