    Touch, smell and learn about the herbs grown not only for seasoning food, but also for providing Colonial families with healing and curative necessities, since a doctor might not be readily available when injury or illness struck. Find out about how average Colonial families provided themselves with fruits and vegetables even thought there were no markets close by and no crops grew for almost half the year. In addition, enjoy living history in our 1700s farmhouse, farm, orchard and outbuildings and converse with their authentically costumed interpreters going about everyday Colonial tasks. Bring a picnic lunch if you like!
