    In Katharine Hepburn’s second film appearance she portrays the spirited aviatrix Lady Cynthia Darrington who gets drawn into an affair with Sir Christopher Strong. Their illicit relationship threatens both of their careers and his marriage. Bryn Mawr College's Homay King, Ph.D., will introduce the film and give a talk about Hepburn’s lasting influence on Hollywood. This event is co-sponsored by Bryn Mawr College in conjunction with the "Celebrating Bryn Mawr College" series in celebration of the college's 125th anniversary.
