The public is invited to join the William Way Center for a special opening night reception with Christina M. Molieri, a local community activist and freelance photographer, who will be exhibiting a selection of images in the William Way Art Gallery from her time spent in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans in March, 2007. The show, The Lower Nine: A Post-Katrina Odyssey, features black and white photographs Molieri took while rebuilding parts of the ravaged city with Common Ground, an organization that formed in the days following Katrina.
