    Children ages 7-12 are introduced to archaeology by participating in a mock dig. Working with real archeologists, participants will excavate, map finds, record artifacts, and interpret their discoveries. Discussions will include how we learn from archaeology and why we should preserve these pieces of our past. $15/$12 member youth.

          The Mercer Museum is partially handicapped accessible (approximately 65%) by elevator and has an accessible restroom. Educational program areas are or can be fully accessible. Fonthill Museum has limited accessibility, however, a ground floor tour may be arranged. Please notify us when you make your reservation if your group includes individuals with special needs.
