Creative Kachina Dolls
September 12, 2010
Visit the Penn Museum this Fall to learn new perspectives about ancient and contemporary cultures through hands-on activities. Activities may include crafts, interactive lectures, touchable artifacts, scavenger hunts and more. Learn the symbolism of kachina dolls, Hopi ceremonial figurines, when you visit the Penn Museum’s Living in Balance: The Native American Southwest exhibition. Use mixed media to design your own doll and craft a story about what he or she represents.
